I got a lovely surprise in the mail the other day! Apparently KnitPicks made a beautiful book of all the 52 Weeks of Dishcloths patterns that they published for free all last year. The book is filled to the brim with literally dozens of patterns for beautiful dishcloths. Some are simple and classy (Checks and Eyelets Facecloth):
Some are silly and fun (Pumpking Dishcloth):
And everything in-between.
I’ve even got three patterns included in the book, the Maritime Dishcloth:The Pinwheel Dishcloth:
And, the Snowbank Spa Cloth (It’s a “spa cloth” because I like alliteration. You could totally use it as a dishcloth):
I’ve got an extra copy of the book , so let’s do a giveaway (I love doing giveaways! They’re the best!). To enter, respond below with your favorite dishcloth from the collection! I’ll pick a winner some time next week.
And, if you don’t win, or if you’re too impatient to wait until your copy of the book arrives, all the dishcloth patterns are available here for free!
I like the Campfire Dishcloth — when I knit dishcloths, I’m usually looking for an all-over texture. This year once again I’ll be making as many cloths as I can during the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, and I know I’ll be mining the 2015 KP dishcloth collection for lots of patterns.
So many to choose from! I think I like the tropical vacation dishcloth best! (I could really use a tropical vacation!)
That pumpkin is awesome, and I keep thinking I want to make it. And I like the edging on the maritime cloth…
Maritime!
Oh I love the Snowbank Spa Cloth. It looks so delicate!
I like the brick a brack cloth! We use my knitted dish cloths laid out by the coffee pot, to absorb any spills, etc. That design would be fun for that!
Being from snow-county…I’m loving that Snowbank dishcloth! I love making dishcloths. It’s the one project I always take with me when I’m camping.
I absolutely love the Pumpking Dishcloth! I would love to make that one for me, and for gifts also!
I’m currently obsessed with the border on the Maritime one! I think I’m going to go cast one on right now!
The Snowbank Spa Cloth is my fave! I’m halfway through knitting it from the free online pattern, and it’s quick and easy. It’s the first time I’ve ever knitted from a chart, and I definitely prefer it over written instructions.
Yay! I love charts, too! They’re just so much easier to read!

I like the Pumpking Dishcloth! I’d like to make it for my sister-in-law, she would love it I’m sure.
I like the Emerald City dishcloth!
I love the pumpkin dishcloth 🙂
I love the pumpkin. It’s just not what you would expect a dishcloth to be.
Love the pumpkin. It’s not what you would expect from a dishcloth. Very cute!
I love the look of the Snowbank Spa Cloth & am having trouble following the chart as I have only knitted with knitted instructions. Do you have written instructions? Thanks!
Hi Karen,
Unfortunately I don’t have written out instructions for this pattern. If you’d still like to make it, let me know and I can help you figure out how to read the chart.
Happy knitting!
Allison
