Chung Chung

That’s the Law and Order sound. Why? Because last night Casa de la On the Needles was the site of real-life crime. I came home from work and our house had been broken into. Luckily, no one was home and we’re all safe, but needless to say, it sucks big balls (of yarn).

My computer (and my set of interchangable needles!) were among the casualties, unfortunately, so I’m posting this from my phone, which is less than ideal. So, I’ll keep it short today.

Want to help? Post a picture of something awesome in the comments to make me feel better! And hopefully, I’ll be back to my regular schedule soon.

Yes, I, too, understand the laptop. But the knitting needles make it feel creepy, like they knew you had them and they were valuable to you.

OH NO! I just found you and you make me smile already. Which set of interchangable needles did you have? I just found Knitter’s Pride and it’s like knitting with the tears of Jesus. Perhaps a silver lining? You can upgrade. As far as a picture of something awesome…. hmmm. I can’t seem to upload one of mine, so I will link to something awesome. Best everything and I hope that you get your stuff back.

Oh no! So sorry that happened. My apt got broken into many years ago and I still feel so ANGRY when I think of it.
    Glad you’re all ok.

I know, right? I want the cops find the guys (even though I don’t hold out much hope) and send them to jail. Actually, I’d be ok if I just got back some of the sentimental stuff they took. But, eh, we’re safe and we have insurance to replace most of the stuff, so it could have been worse. They’re just lucky I don’t know their names.
